
Braemar Men’s Club Rules

Handicap
Each individual is responsible for their own handicap, in accordance with USGA

To qualify to use your current index in Men’s Club events you must meet the following criteria:
-Post 8 scores in the 4 months prior to the date of the index being used for an event And
-Play in 4 mens club events in the 12 months prior to the date of the index being used for the event.
* Otherwise the players index will be subject to an adjustment by the BMC Handicap Committee. -
New Members
New members must play their first tournament under these rules as well and will be reevaluated after their first tournament.

Member-Member Policy
-Maximum Tournament Handicap: 25.
-If you are over this you must play down to a 25 in order to play.
* When playing with a partner during any tournament, the maximum differential is 10. -
Member-Guest Policy
-You must have a valid index to play as a guest in any of the events- No Exceptions!
-Maximum Tournament Handicap: 25.

Handicap Evaluation
Everything will be evaluated by the handicap committee until further notice based on current course conditions and renovations.

Hole-In-One at a Mens Club Event
Any Braemar Men’s Club member (not guest) playing in a BMC tournament who has a hole in one during the event will receive $300 cash and a framed flag with their name, date of hole in one, yardage, and club used.
